We are pleased to introduce ourselves as Mayfair Insurance Company Tanzania Limited (MICTL) – the latest General Insurer to be licensed by Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) in February 2016.
Starting its operations in February 2016, Mayfair Tanzania has gone from strength to strength making its mark in the Tanzanian insurance market in terms of its solvency, effective customer service, and care backed by a customer-centric service philosophy.
A well-capitalized company with a capital base of over 200% more than the minimum regulatory prescribed capital, Mayfair Tanzania has made a niche for itself by breaking into the list of top 10 general insurers (excluding medical) within a short span of five years through consistent, responsible and sustainable growth.
As a part of the Mayfair Group, we enjoy a pan-African presence in Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo which offers unique advantages to our client in terms of accessing superior quality services across the region through cross border synergy.
Our parent company, Mayfair Kenya is rated A- by GCR, South Africa which underlines our financial strength and responsible business practices.
